Your first appointment

At your first appointment the dentist will complete a comprehensive oral examination.

This includes a complete review of your medical and dental history, all necessary x-rays and intraoral photos, study models (if necessary), oral cancer screening, periodontal health evaluation, and examination of your teeth and soft tissues.

Examination appointments can be made online for your convenience.

Consultation costs

We aim to maintain fees at a reasonable level and patient’s accounts are calculated from our current fee scale which is subject to periodic review. We provide an abbreviated version for patients, please feel free to ask for one.

The new patient consultation costs £59.50, and x-rays may be taken at that appointment for an additional cost of £39.50.

Patients are requested to settle their accounts at each visit.

We ask that you make every effort to keep your appointments and arrive on time.

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please call us at least 24 hours prior to your visit.

Late cancellation or failures to attend are subject to a charge.

Treatment plan

Following this exam your dentist will discuss their findings with you and develop a treatment plan that you are comfortable with. Following this you will be sent a written treatment plan and estimate of costs.

For all new patients and those with more complex and extensive treatments, written quotations will be provided, along with any additional information to allow you to make an informed treatment decision.

We can then plan your appointments according to your needs.
